When the GO plans a route, it uses some 'typical' speeds to calculate ETAs and times between points. However, my 1966 VW van won't ever get to 75 (even if I push it off a cliff ;)) . Anyone know if I can change this ? I'm guessing there may be a config file tucked away somewhere on the GO, but I haven't managed to find it
Cheers

In Change preferences on Page 4 0f 6 > Planning Preferences. Last in List is Only at Limited Speed. Set to want you want.
The rouite will be calculated at that max speed, but be aware it might not use Motorways as much as before. _________________ Richard

I found that option, but I was hoping for something a bit more permanent so I can still use the fastest/shortest route options, and it'll take into account my speeds rather than their speeds.
Cheers anyway. ANyone else ?

It would be nice if it allowed you to define an average speed for each type of road - in the way which MS Autoroute does - but unfortunately, it doesn't do that.
Another enhancement for v6 perhaps? _________________ Roger
