|
|
I have tried to add some voices today to the TT 300. These were free ones sent by another user, the usual Ozzie and sharon with sean connery etc. Despite trying to copy them from the files sent to the device the device kept crashing along with my pc, had to pull the plug on usb comnnection to unfreeze. Ok so have given that up as a bad job! In the meantime the verbal alerts for the speed cameras went from being enabled to not there, so had to reset them up again, and they now work as normal. Also my home destination and previous routes went. I thought i would then try and add another voice from the official CD, got a message that the device was full! Any ideas, all i have added is the speed camera database and the voice alerts, and an attempted 3 voices to the voice file which i have managed to delete. |

Hi there,
If its a new TTG 300 you will only have a 128mb so with map update, camera files and extra voice it would be full probably that is why you tomtom is freezing up got no room to move. |

Please do not discuss how to install stolen software. These voices are sold by www.voiceskins.com. |

the voice was sent by a user on the pda forum website, i did not know they were stolen, freely distributing to all who asked, maybe thats why it crashed my machine. Lesson leant i guess never something for nothing. Look on ebay and they are being sold for £2-£3, which is where i got the idea to have one, i guess i shall stick with Jan |

if you look under voice skins on ray's site it's there i've just tried it, click on the floppy icon and you should be able to download it. |
