Anyone explain how I go about having the tom tom 5 mobile software configured on my nokia 6600 to just give out the speed cam alerts only ?? ie. I want to still be warned off speed cams even when in non navigation mode.
is it possible, and if so how do I set it all up ??!!
cheers,

When you set up your speed camera warnings you must have checked "Only warn if POI is on the route" (or similar). Set up your warnings again and make sure this option is not checked. |

Okay mark thanks for the quick reply !!
okay so from what you say if the " only warn if poi is on the route " box is not checked then as long as I have the phone switched on with tom tom software operating but ( not navigating ) I will still receive alerts for the speed cameras ??
thanks.

Yes, that's the idea. Although I haven't tested it myself. Let us know how you get on |

if you want tt to just to alert you to speed cameras
clear the navigation route from tomtom
it will then just follow where you are driving without giving directions and will alert you to where the safety cameras are located
this will definatley work
i use it all the time
