Ireland has very very poor map data, i don't know any software company that has full street level (that are actually street level) map data. _________________ Regards

sorry for the bad news, some major cites will be covered but not the roads that link them. You might be able to find somthing but i dont know if it would b worth paying for. _________________ Regards

Hi Shughie, nice Avatar by the way
If you have a look at this post http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=27676&highlight=ireland it will tell you the current situation. Do your maps only have Belfast coverage? If so, there is a lot better out there. The Sat Nav I use covers, for example: Belfast, Lisburn, Ballymena, Ballymoney, Newry, Derry/Londonderry, Bangor, Newtownards and a few other small towns in the surrounding areas.
maporama is great. If the road you are looking for is not available then check maporama (provided you have web access) and try to link it to your Sat Nav system, if you know what I mean. |
