Yep, I have this problem also at junctions and occasionally when making sharp turns. I run tt5.1 on an acer n35. I didnt have this problem with TT3. |

It does indeed happen when the GPS unit is on the passenger seat. But should this really happen with a Sirf III unit? (sysonchip smart blue mini)[/quote]
I think the problems are due to using a CF receiver, it's another Tom Tom bug. I use a Rikaline X6 using SiRf II, I would have expected the SiRf III's to be better but it seems no matter which CF reciever is used you get the same problems.

I'm not using a CF receiver. I'm using a BT receiver (got a BT CF card just to add BT capabilities to my PDA) _________________ Toshiba e750 wifi + Belkin Bluetooth CF card

Today i went on the same route Marylebone road doing 10-30mph had no singnal loss or map going crazy 8O |
