Hi,
I have an iPAQ h4150, and GlobalSat BT-338 GPS. I'm using TT 5.1, which is mostly working great. One problem I've been having is that when the iPAQ connects to my cell phone by Bluetooth to download traffic info, my GPS connection is dropped.
Once the connection is lost it does not come back (even after the traffic download is done). I've tried going reconfigureing the GPS connection in TT, but that does not reconnect it. The only way to reconnect seems to be to quit TT, pair the iPAQ and GPS and then restart TT.
I know this is obvious, but it sounds like a BlueTooth issue. Can you connect to your GPS and GPRS at the same time outside of TTN? Try connecting to the internet via GPRS, and using a freeware GPS utility and make sure that they can both co-exist at the same time outside of TTN.

Thanks Steve. You were right. If I connect to the GPS through the Windows Mobile "bluetooth manager" and then connect to GPRS through my phone (LG 8100 via BT), the GPS gets disconnected and can not reconnect until I disconnect the phone.
Apparently this isn't a problem with TTN, but rather the phone, GPS, or PDA. Anyone have any other ideas.
