I am trying to make the tom tom icon on the today screen larger as i find the button a little too small for my fingers whilst driving. I know where the bmp file is (My device, TomTom, tttoday.bmp) and have modified it (it is now 64 pixels high) but it only shows the first 16 pixels of the image. Confused Does anyone know how to make it display the whole image ?

Thanks.

Why not assign one of the hardware buttons you don't use (I use Button 3, as I don't have any 'Contacts' set up on my PDA) to TomTom ?

You do have to press a little harder than if it were on the screen, but it definitely works !

Omega One's Battery Pack Pro, allows you to launch programs from the today screen.

It has a separate "tool bar" on the today screen, which you can then customise to call each program. The icons are all 16 pix high, but the beauty here is that you can create the same icons twice next door to each other, thus giving you the width of your finger to press on the screen to launch the program you want.

Mine is setup as follows.

GpsGate:GpsGate:GPSDash2:GPSDash2:Trafcam:Trafcam: POIWarner:POIWarner:TTN5:TTN5:iDriveNavigator:iDriveNavigator.

This the allows me to hit either of the two icons for GPSDASH for example, even when travelling.
