|

Hi Folks,
I’m not sure if you can help, I'm having problems connecting my Ftech Solar Bluetooth GPS with Tomtom navigator 5 software.
I have gone through the connection configuration in Tomtom with "other bluetooth gps" but I get no GPS connection, I am getting a connected status on the outgoing connections and I also pick up GPS data on MrGPS viewer software that came with the GPS. The GPS worked fine with my old Tomtom Routeplanner software.
Ftech tell me the paired device PIN is 0000 and the baud rate is 9600.
The platform is HP 4150 with Windows Mobile 2003
Any Suggestions??
Regards
Kevin |

You need to use a task manager or do a soft reset to make sure your MrGPS viewer is not blocking the port. _________________ Lutz

MrGPS is not the problem I loaded that after I found Tomtom nav5 was not picking up the GPS to check that the Ftech GPS was working, I have since deleated it. Tomtom nav5 is not seeing the GPS.
I also tried connecting my old Garmin 12 and Tomtom did not pick that up.

Set TT GPS setings to "other cable NMEA GPS" - Set the Baud rate to the correct value, then on the final screen select the correct BT port for your PDA - Hope this helps -Mike |
