For the price, I'm assuming you have a Classic, and not a TTG300.
If your TTG was a Classic you will have got a CD. The sleeve of the CD has a Product Code printed on it. You use the Device Code and the Product Code on TomTom's Activation Website, www.ttcode.com and it will produce an Activation Code for you to use with your Device.
If I am wrong come back with which TTG you have, what you had on it, and what you're trying to put on it. _________________ Richard

Have a word with the seller to see if he has missing parts. Without them you will need to buy a new SD card with the GB maps on it.
If fact a better bet would be to buy the MOWE as they don't cost that much more. _________________ Richard

That shouldn't have caused a problem. I still think it might be worth trying to contact the seller. _________________ Richard

When purchasing goods like this you should be aware that the TOMTOM GO and similiar SATNAV products are currently being targeted by scum. I have no doubt that if you have purchased a stolen unit, the rightful owner can have a smug little smerk. The lesson to be learnt is buy cheap and get burnt. It's unlikely that TOMTOM will help for this very reason. |

Well I did buy out the paper so I call that being ok,Im sure if the device would of been stolen it would not have come with all the bracket, cable, instruction book??
Maybe Im to trusting! The unit worked totally fine until I did the free upgrade.Spoke to somebody today and he thinks buying a new sd card with great britain maps will sort out the problem???
Thanks to all anyway |
