I have read somewhere on this forum that the 1715 does not have a comm 1 and if you are using a cradle with a hardwired GPS this will be on comm 1. _________________ Steve I |

The rz1715 is exactly the same as the rz1710. HP use the xxx0 and xxx5 numbering to track orders sold through corporate and other channels. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi there, new to the site
I had the same problem on my Ipaq. Turned out that the windscreen of my car has a reflective coating which stopped the signal from getting to the GPS Receiver. I tried putting the receiver up by the rear view mirror (that is where the window has a patch of black dots (technical I know )
Anyway, the result is that the unit and ttn 5 are both working perfectly.
Also, are you waiting long enough for your unit to get a first lock
You should be in a clear space (no trees or houses too close) where the receiver can get a good line of sight of the sky for a period between 45seconds and 4 minutes (depending on your receiver).
Hope this helps a little |
