Hello all.
I've decided to buy the TTG 500as I do a lot of motorway miles. I also want to add in the PGPS speed camera database for all UK types (gatso, specs etc).
Is it advisable to buy a larger SD card for the TTG than the one it comes with, if so, what size is best?
TIA |

Welcome to the forums.
As much as you can afford - 1 GB sounds good. If it's "Hi Speed" - even better. _________________ Lutz

www.ebuyer.co.uk are doing 1GB SD or MMC for around £40, which is a stunning price! |

hello Lutz
Out of interest and the need for enlightenment, what is considered "Hi Speed"?
(I am about to get a couple of 512 sd cards)

Nav vendors tend to offer larger maps ("All of Europe" etc...) and users tend to pack tons of other data onto the card (MP3 etc). Try for yourself how long it takes to fill any size storage card... _________________ Lutz

I think the Kingston MMC 1GB is a couple of quid cheaper still,, on DABS, is there any practical disadvantage to MMC? |

If that's the PNY card I'd avoid it. Had loads of trouble with their memory in the past. |
