Has anyone ever tried to contact their tech support ? They charge £1 per minute – what a BLOODY rip off – is this legal – they sell items and then do not provide support |

Evesham Technology 0870 1609534 01386 769799 0800 0355575 Technical /Consumer Support
Evesham Technology 0870 7299789 01386 769600 Sales & Service
Evesham Technology 0870 7290908 01386 769600 Business Sales
Evesham Technology 0870 7299785 01386 769600 Customer Care
Try any of those alternative numbers, they should work out much cheaper, (I can phone UK numbers free so its a thumbs up), if you dont get thru to the right people tell them to put you through, dont let them give you another 0870 number.
Hope this helps |

Yes.
Basically, if the item is not faulty - just the user cannot get it to work - then the supplier is more than able to charge for technical support. If the item is faulty, then call consumer support, if it isn't they will direct you to tech support.
The reason they charge for this (apart from to make money) is becasue they know how to do it and you don't. (The same reason car mechanics charge £lots per hour) |

Can you phone 0870 numbers free? If so who is your phone provider. I get free national & local calls but I have to pay for 0870 ( national rate ) and 0845 ( local rate ) numbers. It's the word "rate" that makes the calls chargeable. |

Sorry I meant I can phone the national rate phone numbers for free, not the 0870 numbers, those 0870 numbers are a real pain! |

Use www.saynoto0870.co.uk, you can normally find alternative geographical landline numbers.
