|
|
I've been using Navman SmartST V3 and am now returning it (long story but compatability issues). I'm switching to Destinator as it would appear to be the best value for a complete Europe package (TomTom good but expensive! Ouch!)
But with any of the progs I've used I always wanted a simple button that I press which will log a journeys start, end and total miles to a line in a spreadsheet so I can do my business expenses easily. I tried Travel-I and even paid for it but found that it kept popping up with speedcamera warnings etc over the top of Navman and I could never sort it. A compatability issue between NavMan/GPS Gate and Travel-I meant I could never get to the bottom of it.
I've searched everywhere for some app like this and I'm surprised I'm seemeingly in the minority with my quest. Would have thought it useful for many out there.
Any thoughts/help appreciated.
Using an Orange SPV M2000 with Holux Cr100 cradle. |

Funny you should mention Destinator...
Destinator 3 Pro had a Travel book built in. It's no longer there in PN though. _________________ Lutz

Yeah but it would appear that the folks at Destinator are on a permanent vacation or they have day jobs. The only think you find at their website is tumbleweed and some creaking signs as the wind blows in. Technical support leaves something to be desired. Funny how their automated reply is instant, yet their actual reply is out there in the ether somewhere. What possesed me to buy it!? Destinator PN seems like a one step forward, 2 steps backwards evolution. |
