With regards to the Ram U-Bolt Mount, it doesnt look safe at all (in terms of protecting your PDA!)

As it sticks so far infront of the handlebars, not only is it prone to damage should you fall and lose control of your bike, but it also blocks your view of the front wheel quite significantly.

I was expecting a holder to make use of the "T" part of the handlebars, where it does not restrict your vision, and also has a lot mor protection as it is closer to the main bike chassis, even though it would still be prone to damage should the bike go over itself, but I'm sure a big crash like that wouldnt happen often!

I am pretty disappointed with the thought into the design of such a product, and consequently wont be purchasing this, just by seeing its design faults through the pictures on the review - and if I do need something like this, will most likely make my own!

Great mounting system, but what is going to stop the Pda from being shaken to bits, eventually?

Assume you are going to be carrying around a plastic cover to keep the rain off too?
