|
|
Running TTN5 on a hx4700 and all seems fine, but when I updated to v5.10 a number of POI's which when selected returned a message saying there was no POI information for that catagory.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so how do you recover from it to get all the POI content for each catagory back.
Is it possible to just reinstall the POI information ?
I uninstalled TTN5 and reinstalled it and all the POI information was recovered. Does this mean that I cannot use the upgrade to TTN5.10 or is there a work around.

Are you talking custom POIs or built in POIs? _________________ Lutz

I'm talking built in POI's such as the tourist attraction, after installing 5.10 the catagory is still there but its empty

Hi
Looks like there may be a link between these two problems. Is it possible to reinstall just the POI files (I thinks its the POI.DAT file)after upgrading to 5.10 or is this not possible or unlikely to solve them problem

The 5.1 upgrade doesn't change the poi.dat file, the poi.dat file comes with the maps.
You may like to try the poi.dat file from TTN3 if you have it. This used to partially solve this problem when it was due to use of the cracked version. Although this means using out of date POI's.
