I've just had a look at some of the wav files in my audio editing software, and most of them do peak to full level, although sometimes it is only one small part of a word that peaks full and the rest is lower, so they could benefit from some compression. I'd be willing to do this for them, but to be honest I don't like any of the voices used. If we can find a Tim and Jane soundalike (or two!) I'll gladly record them for pocketgps. |

I'd second that. Has anyone either tweaked the existing recordings or produced some new ones with higher volume yet?
Thanks,

The wav files were done when I first split up the database in to the speed related ones for use in CheckPOInt V2.0.2.0 and GPSAssist back in January of this year.

They actually come over louder on my XDA II than the TomTom voice.

No. The 510 has no facility to play wav files, other than the default sound. _________________ Richard
