Hi Again,
Can i delete everything from my SD card?? And start again??
Does the tom tom go classic have like a hard drive??
Want to go back to Default as if i bought from shop..
I have the cd that came with it Maps of Great Britian plus Major roads of Europe..
I now have a 512SD card..
Please help

Best to just leave your original card as it is and load the system and maps to the 512 card. Use the GO as the "card reader" it will (should) work with a blank card.
You can get the latest system from the TomTom site. That will also give you the latest set up management on your PC. Use that to install the system and the two maps.
If you have any Points of interest loaded (the .ov2 files and matching .bmp files in the map folders on the original card, copy these to the PC first and then copy them to the map folders on the 512 card.
The USB lead is slow. It will take up to 20 mins to download and reinstall the maps. _________________ TTGO 700 (dead)

Sorry bit confused, The reason i want to go back to default is i have installed numerous files i.e voices,poi and other crap and i am unsure what files i should have on my card for to go back to shipping state..
I set tom tom in the settings to default but poi still there??

For the POI's, just delete all the .ov2 and .bmp files in the Map Folder. _________________ Richard
