Hi, have just got my first sat nav and am new to all this. I have clicked on the dowload database link but nothing seems to happen except the screen refreshes - there is no message to say anything has been downloaded and I can't find anything on my PC. Help.....what am I doing wrong? |

Hi woody40,

OK, have you tried downloading from this link?
http://www.pocketgpspoi.com/downloads/pocketgps_uk_sc.zip
When you click on it, is should prompt you (after you have hit the save button) to save it to a location of your choice on your PC.

It's a fairly new PC Win XP SP1. Think I'll just give it a re-boot and check the firewall isn't stopping anything. I'll let you know if it makes any difference. Cheers.

Hello,
I've purchased a Navman PIN 570 with SmartST 2005, and am having trouble with loading on the speed camera detector software. I've downloaded the database and have followed all the instruction on how to get this on to the Navman and working. I can get into the POI editor on my PC, download to device, choose options, give a name, then seemingly transfer the POI on to the PDA. This goes through without reporting any problems. However, when I try to look for this on the Navman I can't see the file anywhere, or use it - I wonder if anyone could offer some assistance.
Thanks in advance.
