I have a BIG problem with the way Navigon have handled this
Anyway that won't get your problem solved.
First of all TMC for V4 is still working - checked today.
A few questions :-
1. Is the ariel damaged? if the TMC module is recognised and cycling through the stations it might just be the ariel. Is there any chance of trying a different Ariel?
2. Have you tried changing the GPS type in settings? I've had a similar problem - if you go into your GPS settings change it from "Navigon Modular" to "Navigon with TMC" or vice versa (make sure you save changes) and this may bring your TMC back - it's worked for me on a few occasions.
Hope this helps _________________ Thanks,

Again, many thanks for your reply. The antenna seems to be OK; I checked the resistance with an ohmmeter. The main setting right now says "Navigon with TMC". I will change that and see how it works. |

Chris,
I've just finished an extensive testing session. I have plugged the TMC receiver in and out, and tried all permutations of Navigon Modular and Navigon with TMC in the Settings menu, all with the same result: The TMC panel stays orange and the receiver seems to be cycling without hitting a valid station. I probably have a hardware failure and will contact Navigon to get that sorted. |

You didn't mention you had your own hardware
You'll need the Navigon TMC Receiver for it to work with Navigon.
I don't believe that Navigon TMC will work with anything other than it's own hardware.
Best to check with them before you buy. _________________ Thanks,
