I use an XDAII, works fine using the last released ROM Upgrade which was v1.72
1) do i need to upgrade my rom?
NO v1.72 is fine
2) do i need to download a patch for TT5?
Install the latest v5.10 update after installing v5
3) will i lose all my poi's?
Not if they are in .ov2 files, copy them to PC as a backup
4) can i use checkpoint?
Yes although the v5 version is still a little flaky. The built-in alerting is good enough for me
5) can i load TT5 onto my sd card?
Yes _________________ Darren Griffin

If you're referring to the TomTom upgrade, that can be downloaded from www.tomtom.com , click on 'Support' then 'Downloads'. _________________ Darren Griffin |
