I have just upgraded to TT5 navigator and the latest version of POI place on my iPaq 1940. The problem I am having is when I reach a POI, whatever category, the POI blinks and this is quite annoying and also distracting. Does anyone know why this is happening and if so is there a solution to it. Thanks Alan |

TTN5 has its own POI warning system, this takes the form of an audible noise but also the POI blinks in the top left-hand corner of the screen - its supposed to be distracting to a certain extent so you know when you're approaching a speed camera etc. If you dont like it just swith it off on the 'Manage POI' option from the 'Change Preference' menu. |

Thanks for your help. You will have to excuse me if I seem a little thick. I take it I go into Warn when near POI, if this correct I have tried this and the only warnings I can see are sounds, which are not enabled in any category. I have never had a sound warning it is just the flashing I find distracting. Once again thanks for your help and any further advice you may have would be appreciated. |

Oh, OK. Actually I thought it only flashed when the the warning sounds were switched on. Maybe its something to do with POI Place but I haven't got that so I cant help. Sorry |
