Another category for the database I wonder?
I've also heard of a trial on the M6 - they are taking your speed by placing a mobile camera on a bridge as before. But now they are checking it further down the motorway at another bridge and working your average speed out over the distance. _________________ Thanks,

seen in a paper last week.
Last Saturday new hi tec speed cameras were due to be switch on over 4 miles of the M20 between junction 2 and 3 while resurfacing take place for the next 3 months.
50mph limit at all times day & night. Cameras work out your average speed over the distance. No Flash just a ticket through your letter box.

Which is excatly what SPECS is. A Speed Averaging System using two cameras to time you over a measured distance. _________________ Darren Griffin |

tbh I think they would have a hard time prooving that everyone looking down was texting. You could be looking down at the radio the gearstick the pedal if something gets lodged even your speedo (the van at work has one lower down near the gear stick in kms)
Its getting beyond a joke but Motorists are easy pickings. |
