Hi
I'm new to this nabigation thing, and I have an Navman 510.
I live in Denmark and traveling a lot in Sweden and Norway.
Specially Norway have speedcameras.
But i'm not sure i've got this right.
Is there only a database for UK...or?
Is the cameras have to be a special type?
In Norway.. the cameras is staying in boxes along the road and measuring the speed, and when driving too fast, it gives a very expensive ticket.
Please help with this, .....and sorry for my english spelling.
Best Regards
Brian

Hi Brian,
The cameras you describe sound like Gatso's. If there is not already a similar service to ours operating in Scandinavia then we will happily accept submissions for Safety Cameras from there.
All that we need is the Latitude/Longitude of the Camera, the camera type and the speed limit at that camera location _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Brian
http://www.poihandler.com/index.html
Lists speed cameras for Norway, no idea what they are like. Have you tried a Google search for POI GPS and the norweigan for radar or speed camera?

Hi all!
http://hem.bredband.net/fartkamera/
This is a very good site for Swedish speedcams, with downloads for different types of GPS. They are working on Norwegian speedcams too.. I use this on my Mio 168 and it works fine

It is, but the spelling is a bit wrong, we spell camera with a K instead of a C... Fart Kamera... =) it means Speed Camera if you translate it straight over... |
