Oh dear! I was out and about last week with a friend who has a TomTom and was showing me all sorts of POI's etc he could get! So little Miss Clver Cloggs here, who has put off adding stuff to her 510 as she didn't want to mess it all up, decided to see what she could add! Bad move me thinks!! Grrrr

Firstly, I keep getting told that the 510 is not connected to the PC but it is and I have tried every connection point on my computer! The screen starts off as the "connection" screen with the plugs and comp and unit but then it quickly changes to the sort of start up screen with the maps all installing etc. So no joy there!

Secondly, it would seem that despite registering my 510 when I first got it in Feb 05 it is saying I am not registered. Is this anything to do with the above question I wonder??

Anyone got any pointers for me please?? Embarassed

try leaving the 510 powered by the ac adapter as it could be powering down

You can download it from here - http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/downloads/activesync38.mspx

It will leave an icon in your Sys Tray when installed.
