When running tom tom without planning a route i can get the icon of a speed camera poi on the screen but without sound, this works fine when i plan a route

have you selected "warn if poi on route" - de-selecting this from poi settings might get it to work, as if there is no route you won't get a warning of cameras - give it a try - let me know if it works - mike
