It sounds like your unit is hard resetting itself.
When you turn it off you are not flicking the switch at the back of the unit across are you?
If you are then as the main program is installed on the SD card it will then reinstall itself automatically as its supposed to do
So hopefully in your case the answer is to turn it off on the front panel switch only and leave the back one alone.
Hope this helps

The Safety Camera files need converting to use with POI-Warner to .asc format, if you follow some of the guide on my web site it will show you how to convert the files.
Just click the link at the very bottom of this post. |

When you say the woman speaks German do you mean she speaks only German or English with a German accent?
I am assuming you mean it the POIWarner program that is speaking and not the main Medion Nav program? _________________ IPAQ 3950 Tomtom 6 with Navman 3450 sleeve v6 USA & Canada & Western Europe maps, 2gb Sandisk sd card, POIWarner V2.0.

As far as I now you cant change that poor Germans womans voice, in fact I find it rather amusing as I take the mick out of it and so does anyone who gets in the motor and hears her spout of her accented english
I guess if you wanted to change it then you probably can but I have not really thought about it.
Anyone know if it she can be changed to a nice sexy proper english speaking woman? _________________ IPAQ 3950 Tomtom 6 with Navman 3450 sleeve v6 USA & Canada & Western Europe maps, 2gb Sandisk sd card, POIWarner V2.0.
