Has anyone else had trouble getting their phone book details transferred? I have managed to connect my phone (Motorola V3) and it works as a hands free kit but on trying to store the contents of the phonebook, the messages on the TTG say that the phonebook has been transferred but only the first one in the list appears in the choices.

Transferring the contacts seems to be a problem for a lot of people. Not all phones are compatable.
In notepad on your PC create a file called "contacts".
Then type in the numbers you need in the following format,
"name","number". i.e. "John","01616666666"
re-file and then add this file to the root directory of your TomTom.

There are also two txt files named "called" and "caller" - which contain details of calls you have made and ones you have received. Each month when I update the speed cameras I look at these files and cut and paste any useful entries to the contacts file and add a name. You soon build up a directory that way.

My Motorola V600 wouldnt transfer my phonebook because I had it stored in my SIM card.
I copied the contents into the phones memory, hit the transfer button on the Tom Tom, and all the contents were stored on the Tom Tom Go.
Hope this helps.
