MapSend TOPO for US...Is there a way to display on PC?

I have MAGELLAN MapSend Topo for US.

Is there any way to display the topo maps on my PC and print them out?

It appears I can display and area or region and download to GPS.

But I want to see the TOPO map on my PC first.

Just zoom in. the more you zoom in, the more detail is revealed.

But no matter what zoom level I use. All I get is a street map. I can never display a Topo map on my PC.

ah ok. click on options at the top, then select show topo :D

under options the topo setting is checked.

Maybe I should reload this thing??

It makes no sense why it wont show topo??

Don't know if I understand. Are you saying that you've loaded TOPO on your PC and can see and print low level maps (.2mi gives me the names of streets) but can't zoom out enough to see the elevation lines? What zoom levels are you able to access? I can see the TOPO lines - major & minor - at any zoom level.

Dumb Question - Is it possible you actually have MapSend USA without TOPO? Do you have the original CD? If so, you might e-mail Magellan support. They take awhile but they do answer.

Otherwise, I think I'd use the add/remove software setting to remove the program (my TOPO doesn't have an Uninstall) and re-install it.

Yes, I have The original disk, purchased by me just recently from Radio Shaft on sale........


Magellan MapSend Topo for the U.S. V 4.20

Loaded into my PC. I can see maps, streets, grid, quick info, scale interval, waypoint labels and can turn all these items off and on from the Options menu.

But I can NOT see the Topo Map, contour lines or anything else. It is turned on in the options menu. Using the Zoom feature, I have zoomed in and out with Topo turned on. Nothing.?????
Tech support on the phone has been an adventure in being on hold................

What the heckcould I possibly be doing wrong??

Well this is too funny..............Or maybe just proves Im a Dummy..

I live in south Jersey, flat as a pamcake. I guess I was expecting too much. There are no contour lines to see here......... And I guess I was expecting to see colors as in a real TOPO map.....

I slewed over to the Pocono Mountains in PA, and voila!!!!!!!!!!!

DUH is me..............
