I'm new to the forum and have recently purchased an iCN 520
Can anyone advise where I can purchase a screen protector ?
The only ones I can find looking on the net are for the TT
Thanks

I had a spare one for a Dell Axim PDA. I trimmed it down a bit and it fits fine. |

Out of interest, how do you use the 'touch screen' functions when the iCN is fitted with a screen protector? Is it only required for protection as an alternative to the Navman carry case? |

Screen protectors do not effect the touch screen properties at all. I've tried several types and the best one I found is a Covertec. It's washeable and reusable. You only get 2 for £10 against 10 for £10 but you only need the one anyway. The anti-reflective properties reduce screen definition slightly but not as much as reflection does. I use mine for bike use a lot so that is a consideration for me. |
