I managed to download and install the new version yesterday. However, it doesn't work properly with TT5 in Landscape mode, the warning dialogue/direction arrow still appears as it would in portrait mode.
Also, the display is extremely flickery and is not readable.
It looks like I will have to invest in POI-Warner |

It does mention about the flickering on the site it's due to the way the maps are drawn in TT5, but they have put a tick box to turn off the display and just have the audio. |

I turned the info off - flickered like mad and took too much screen at top.
Instead I have set the TT5 warning to show up as well and consequently have a flashing icon showing distanse and location of the poi - nice :D
The new version seem to be missing the facility to start TT5 when CPOI is started. |

I liked checkpoint 2 :D but V5 . Binned it the same day. Too longwinded & complicated to use & did not co-operate with TTN5 very well (slow, some screen corruption at times & trying to lock up).
I personally think they have tried to fit too much in to it. Gone back to TTN5 warnings (with voices supplied by Ray Flannagan, http://www.rayflanagan.co.uk/ ). I have a general 'Gatso/Mobile' warning followed by a speed zoned warning, works for me. _________________ If riding in a plane is flying then riding in a boat is swimming.
