|
|
TTNAV5, been working fine on an iPAQ 3970. Started it the other day and got the disclaimer (Legal Notice) screen, hit I agree and it started fine. Pre-planned a route and exited TomTom before switching off. Started again once I jumped into the car and its stuck on the disclaimer screen, hit "I Agree" and the button changes colour but it just sits on that screen. Tried a number of soft resets, cleared the event errors, checked the SD card and all looks in order.
Any tips please? |

I get that when TomTom cannot find maps such as when I have forgotten to put the SD card back in my PDA. |

Does any one know how to disable the disclaimer screen? It would be nice to start the program with out having to agree every time? |

The SD card/maps look fine - didn't really want to re-install it and lose all my customisation but it looks like the only option.
Never usually get the disclaimer screen, not sure if it was coincidence but it came up for the first time after I plugged the PDA into my laptop via a sync cable - nothing (mail, files, etc.) is set for replication so not sure this aftected anything. Worked whilst it was connected then failed the first time I used after that. |

It can also happen if you start the PDA and then immediately start TTN5, or use a pre-programmed button to start TTN5.
The operating system has not had sufficient time to initialise the SD card and TTN5 brings up the disclaimer screen since it can't access the maps on the card.
It will do this every time to me if I try and use a pre-programmed button to start TTN5.
