Recently my B2 unit stopped functioning. No power in car, zero response when connected to the PC cable. Sent it to B2 who claimed it was likely that the LRC100 unit had allowed water ingress and therefore shorted the B2 unit.
Anyone heard of that before? _________________ Tom Tom 1005 v2 World, Garmin Dakota 20, IPhone 4S |

Does the LRC100 unit still work? ( Highly unlikely that this would leak anyway ). If the LRC100 works then that cannot have shorted out the B2. |

I have nothing to test it with, except the next mobile camera. I'm still perplexed to the water ingress claim, as it looks pretty water-tight to me. _________________ Tom Tom 1005 v2 World, Garmin Dakota 20, IPhone 4S |

Try holding a TV remote control very close to the LRC100 receiver and then press any of the buttons. ( Do it to each of the two ). |
