|
|
I have an updated data.chk POI voice warning file for version 5.1.
If anyone can please supply somewhere to place it for general download, I will be more than happy to provide the file.
It is all in an English female voice and, I feel a little more friendly.
All sounds are in the same corresponding sounds as in 5.0
Please PM me if you can provide the space.
Please Note: The file is provided in the understanding that you use it at your own risk.
Special thanks to Andy Powell (aka ScaredyCat / FuzzyCat) and his prog TTG POI Sound Patcher.
Thanks

From what I understand, it's not worth posting the data.chk file for others to download as there are differences between the files,
Hence the reason you have to base the new file on your old file,
Hosting the seperate sounds for people to download isn't a problem,
Your ISP should have given you web space to put it as mine has,

This is great but I can't download the file, I'm getting: The file you are trying to access is no longer available.
There are several reasons why this error may have occured:
* The user that owns the file deleted the file.
* The user was evaluating the software and the file was downloaded more than 10 times this month so the file was removed to conserve bandwidth.
* The user's account expired.
* The user exceeded his daily data transfer limit.
Any ideas?

I have downloaded the file and it works OK, I like the voice. However, I seem to be missing Gatso 70 - is it just me?
Cheers

Hi ernieb,
There was no Gatso 70 in the first data.chk file. I kept the locations of the voices in the same place so the files were interchangeable

Hi,
Do I just replace the existing data.chk file or do I need to rename it with the original name?

I copied the old file to my PC from my PPC, then replaced the file on my PPC with the new one it worked a treat. |
