Since upgrading to v5.1 I seem to have lost my voice prompts for the speed cameras.
I've tried reloading the data chk file but my bulid has now changed from 5.00 (4890) to 5.100 (5160)
Is there an updated chk file available yet or am I doing something wrong?

Same problem here. I just copied my modified data.chk back onto the PPC, and all has been well since. Well, I've lost my stylus somewhere today, but I don't think that's related to it. |

Tried that but it still doesn't work.
I'm stuck with the stupid bells, beeps & moo's !!!
What am I doing wrong ?
I've copied the 4890_new.data.chk to my ppc, to the Navigator folder.
Then renamed the existing data.chk data.bak.
Then rename my new file as data.chk, done a soft reset but still can't shift the moo's !! :x

@ silversurfer - I lost my voices aswell after upgrading, just rename (or remove) the data.chk file in the folder - "Programme Files - Navigator" then copy your modified data.chk file to same folder. |

I have an updated data.chk POI voice warning file for version 5.1.
If anyone can please supply somewhere to place it for general download, I will be more than happy to provide the file.
It is all in an English female voice and, I feel a little more friendly.
All sounds are in the same corresponding sounds as in 5.0
Please PM me if you can provide the space.
Thanks
