Quote: | I am now using V 5.9 dated 1/7/2005 which now shows less cameras than the Feb database so they must be removing them from non danger sites. |
I'm impressed that you are able to know how many cameras there are in your loaded database. I have an Origin B2, which I'm very pleased with, but there is now way for me to know how many cameras are in the database, or it's date. |

You are able to find out the Database Date with the Origin B2. I'm not infront of mine.... but I think it tells you on the boot up screens.
If not, under the Versions menu.... it tells you the date that the database was last updated by Origin - as well as the date you last updated your Origin. (As well as a few others).
I've experienced Origin's database being updated almost daily on many occasions. |

Yes, each time you update the Inforad the database is date stamped with the number of cameras recorded in it. It's a cheap and cheerful unit with no whistles or bells but it has saved me once when I was in an area where the speed went down from 40 to 30 on a dual carrigeway for goodness sake and I didn't notice. |

Guess what caravanj? My device suddenly appears as "unregistered" today and I can't update it. On trying to re-registered, it says "that serial number is already registered"!
Oh well, here we go again...

Inforad had a server problem which has now been resolved but they lost a lot of registration details in the process. Anyway Stephanie has sorted my unit out and it is registered again. |
