Sascha,
Are you looking to power the 236 from the Seidio Car mount?
If so you will need to buy an additional cable to get power from the RJ11 on the 2100 to a mini USB charger (Holux GR23*).
You can contact the Holux Shop on 0870 321 6929 if this is the cable that you need. It is not currently showing as a product on the website but it is available. |

Hi,
thanks for the info. Would this cable also allow me to use the serial port of the Holux instead of the Bluetooth connection? e.g. on Seido? Currently my Seidio uses one cable to the GPS mouse. That one cable powers the GPS and also gets the data from the GPS.
I would like to do the same with the new GR236. I am using a Palm and that device can only handle one Bluetooth connection at a time and I am using that one already .... so the GR236 over serial plus power to the Seido would be my ticket....
Thanks

Sascha,
Sorry for late reply.
The cable that i have described will only work as a charging cable for the GPS.
If you want to use the 236 as a mouse then you will need this cable made into a data cable. If you call Holux UK, this cable can be made for you. If you call 0870 321 6929 they can help you out with this. |
