If you browse the CD's you should find the following unique files and folders on each disk:
Installation CD:
File: Resource CD.cid
CD1:
File: Europe CD1.cid
Folder: nveur1
CD2:
File: Europe CD2.cid
Folder: nveur2
etc. up to
CD6:
File: Europe CD6.cid
Folder: nveur6
From this you should be able to determine which disks you have.

TT vs3 Europe came with an installer on each CD as well as a country / countries on each CD (depends on size), that was nine disks, once you install the application on to the PDA you should then get the option to load maps - have you tried a soft reset of the PDA post installation of the application, and have you registered it? - Mike |

1. Install The Application
2. go on line
3. read manual
4. add/remove extra features
5. visit tom tom
6. quit
I think I may have some duff disks?
Is there any other way of getting the maps, if not I will have to unistall and reinstall previous version and get in touch with TomTom.

I wonder if this is another part of the reported installation bug
TT will copy the setup.exe file from te CD to the C:\Windows\Temp folder and then seems incapable of removing it.
Speculation:
Having put the setup.exe file from the first disk (TT program) in the C:\Windows\Temp folder inserting every other TomTom CD results in this incorrect setup from the hard disk being used rather than copying the new one from the maps disks.
Try rebooting your computer (not PDA) and then going to the folder C:\Windows\Temp and manually deleting the file called setup.exe. Then try inserting CD1 to see if you get a different installation menu. |

That's what i had to do. It's the same fix for the "not enough memory/free space..." My map CD wouldn't initally give me an option to "add maps"....
Might as well try it whilst you're waiting for the new CD's. _________________ Tom Tom 1005 v2 World, Garmin Dakota 20, IPhone 4S |
