hello,urgent help required ttg 300

i have the ttg 300 bought it today and found this forums,i have a huge problem with my unit,it was working fine,then i copied files over exactly like it said in the forums,now my machine turns on to a blue screen with no gps device! written in the bottom left hand corner,it then resets itself every 30 seconds or so?????
please help

check the storage card - it may be out of space. delete some of the voice files you don't need.

its has in voices folder data 4 chk data 5 chk and data 4 vif and data 5 vif???

now the screen just goes black after the tom tom logo comes on?????

oh my god,now it comes on but theres a big red cross through the card???
what the hells up with this,have i had a faulty one?

restore the card from the backup you have made, or even better, get a bigger card, restore the backup there, and then start adding/modifying files again.

you have installed your backup to a secure digital card (sd card) and not a multimedia card (mmc card)
as I accidentaly installed to a mmc card and its not recognised by the tomtom and mine came up with a red cross thorough the card on the screen. they look exactly the same except thesd card has all the contact surfaces whereas the mmc card has one missing from the slanted corner.

its seems to me, that the 128 card supplied with the TTG300, is only just big enougth, and cant handle anything much added to it... I had problems with mine too, lckingup etc. I got a 256 card, dumped my backup folder complete to it, then added speed cameras & voices & works fine.
