simply copy the card contents into a folder on the PC. Make sure that no files are hidden in File Explorer _________________ Lutz

Hi
I am using Tomtom5 and have been using the GB maps. Just trying to copy over the France map (well, a 64mb part of it) - and my tomtom (running on an IPAQ2210 ) won't even see the map when I try to switch to it. It worked fine in tomtomt3. Any ideas...?
Thanks in advance

When you put the SD card in a card reader, and connect it via the USB cable to the PC, it should show up as a seperate drive in your Windows Explorer Screen.
Just Copy the SD card that you can see in the Left Pane of Explorer, and Paste to your C: Drive, or wherever you want to store your backup.
Don't forget to take note about hidden files as mentioned before. _________________ Richard

Done that Richard - but using the ipaq explorer window. All the files are there - it is just navigator can't see the map to enable me to switch to it. Do they need 'registering' or anything... (I don't mean activation).
Thanks
