When saving a POI file to the iCN510 the process fails with the error message "No storage available on device". This happens with both GATSO .csv files and a simple one line POI text file created in the SmartST POI editor. I have tried re-formatting the SD card (original 128MB and a new 512 MB) in both FAT and FAT32 formats, without success.
I can transfer files between the cards and my PC using a SD card reader without problem.
I was also able to copy Base Maps from the CD to the 512 MB card without problem.
Can anyone please help me? |

Is no-one able to help me? There is ample capacity in the storage card - SmartST Desktop reports 87 MB available.
I have tried re-building the SD card using the Navman files, but this has helped.
Navman tech support haven't come up with anything useful yet either.
Has anybody had any similar problems? |

Sorry for typo error. Re-building the SD card did NOT improve matters.
Is there anything else I can try to find the cause of my problem? |

I had this problem. It was caused by McAfee Firewall which has to be removed, not just disabled. Other firewalls night have the same effect. |

Brilliant!!
Many thanks, removing McAfee Firewall is the answer.
Now I shall wait for the Navman "expert" to come up with this solution, or devise an alternative to removing & re-installing the firewall. |

Further probing found that the problem was due to my Firewall blocking access by POI Editor. Changing the Firewall settings to provide full access has enabled the saving of POI files.
Why didn't the Navman experts come up with this solution? |
