Upgrade to Nav 5 from NAv 3 GPS Problems

I have recently bought the upgrade to Navigator 5 for my pocket PC but my gps receiver which worked and came with Navigator 3 doesnt seam to be recognized by the new software my Pocket PC does recognize it and connects as well as pairs but te navigation software keeps on saying no GPS. Does anyone ideas?

your receiver may be programmed to SiRF mode. Reprogram it to NMEA mode and try again

I had the same problem (Could not see the GPS) After trying all the different settings I could think of; both on my Ipaq 2210 and my Garmin SP111+ Nothing seemed to help so I did a HARD reset on the Ipaq and reinstalled TT5 and it worked :D
Now it works I do like TT5.
I did try to restore from a saved backup using Actve Sync but that did not work so I had to put all my old programs back on the Ipaq.
