Hi all !
I recently got into the world of Sat Nav with TomTom Mobile 5 on my Nokia 6600 and it's made a world of difference to my travelling.
I was wondering tho' what sat nav software there is available for the PC. I have a small laptop and although my TomTom is all I need, I was just curious as to what is available for the ordinary PC, if anything at all.
In particular, I would be interested in Freeware/Open Source/Shareware etc, but would like to know what payware there is too.
Many thanks in advance for any help |

There is no freeware/open source navigation software available.
On the PC you can use TomTom Navigator (via the Microsoft Device Emulator) or programs from the Intellinav Clone series (PrymeNav, IGuidance, Socket Nav, Routis etc) _________________ Lutz

Hi Roberto,
You may want to also look at Directions InfoMap software. It is cheaper than Intellinav clones and is designed for use on PC only(Concentrating on doing one thing has got to be better!!). More details you can look at the following URL

Thanks Intertoto
I did find a freeware sat nav program on Google the other day, but can't find it anymore.
TBH, I'm not too bothered as my TomTom Mobile is doing the trick perfectly and is another reason why Series 60 mobile phones are just so bloomin' good I just kinda got interested as to what else was out there.
Thanks to everyone |
