Medion 95900 GPS Reception.

Hi,

Can anyone advise whether or not there's any form of GPS receiver diagnostics that can be downloaded from the internet to verify whether or not a 95900 is working correctly. Please excuse my ignorance but should GPS reception be greatly affected indoors and where there are quite a few surrounding trees?. Still not sure whether or not have bought a d.o.a. unit, Acer n35 reception seemed to be much better. Perhaps I need to return 95900 for refund as support from Medion by e-mail has unfortunately been awful. Ring us, that's all they say. Why they include an e-mail for techical support on their docs I do not know :-(.

One other thing is it possible to make a working back-up of the software pre-installed on the supplied 256Mb SD card?.
