You can choose. Either the root directory, either you make a directory that you call "Voices". Both will work. |
Are you saying make a new folder and call it root or voices |
No, I'm saying that you either put it in your root directory, either make a new folder in the root directory and call it "Voices".
I don't know how to explaine what the root directory is. Let me try. On your computer you have a C drive. The root directory is "C:\". In your root directory you have several sub-directories (directory is the technical word for folder). For example, "C:\windows". The windows directory (or sub-directory) is in the root directory. in "C:\Windows\system". The system directory (or sub-directory) is located in the windows directory (or sub-directory), which is located in the root directory.
I guess a simple way of saying what the root directory is would be "not in any folder", but that would not be very technical.
Your TTG just like your computer has a root directory and several sub-directories in that root directory. |

Call the new folder Voices. The "Root Folder" is the lowest folder level on a Device, whether it be a Hard Drive or a Memory Card.
The Root of your Hard Drive is C:\ for example. _________________ Richard

The root is the first place you come to when you open the TTG. If you want you can make a folder in there called Voices. Or just put them in the first place you come to. |

although you lot were not sitting in the room whilst I was recording the phrases with a microphone!
this was recorded for the tomtom mobile 5 so I don't know if it will work with tomtom go, and if your lucky, it won't work with tomtom go

The good Captain removed these file from public domain because some people were profiteering by selling them on eBay. |
