Hi everyone

have just spent 2 hours getting my taskbar on my medion 95900.

All this was with the help of MrRee4U, noot quite sure if i found him on this forum, anyway if not i am sure he visits this one. Many thanks to him.
Being new to all this and being of the over 60 gang, i think i did quite well.

Now to the next main issue on my list,

I would like some help to install POI-Warner and a speed camera database, not sure if i should use the POI one or one of the UK free ones?

Then onto the next subject (UKPC2NVG) post code program help?

So if anyone out there feels like giving an old man a lift, i would be gratefull.

regards to all, in anticipation.

Hi heliflyer
Thanks for asking. i have now solved my problems. all that remains is to sort out what i do and dont need from the poi-warner database, this is proving tiresome but all things are sent to try us. :D

i have not yet ventured onto the seven digit postcode program, but i will when i have more time in front of the pc. 8) Laughing

thanks once again, i will remain in touch.

Hi sco7t

Good to see that you have mastered the medion, as i did.

i am still playing with it and learning, the next step is to install a program called ukpc2nvg, this is a program that use can use for seven digit postcodes.

keep me imformed of your developments.
regards

Hi Scott

You may have to reinstall poi-warner again

all you should have after you started to monitor is medion navigator loading then once this has loaded you should get one small green square in the lower left of the screen.

I am only a beginner like yourself, but keep trying.

I found out by accident that if you do a hard reset with the power switch on the back of the unit, that you loose everything that you have installed!

Good look
