Buying the right thing!

I've been looking at all of the different options of getting a GPS system, for getting around UK roads.

I currently own a HP iPAQ 1930.

I've been looking at GPS devices and have seen a few that would work in my SDIO slot. I have also looked at some bundles which I think do not come with software.

I have also looked into software and am leaning towards TOMTOM but Navigator looks ok too.

Anyone that could let me know if I'm looking in the right direction or not or where to go next would be ever so much appreciated.
