All you need to do is uncheck "accept all incoming beams". Don't have an XDA2s anymore but I think it was in "connections". If you still stuggle just search on the phrase, it's been documented on this site & others many times.
This is possibly all that was wrong with TTN3 as I had TTN3 working on a XDA2s with a wired receiver without any problems.

thanks for letting me know - tt5 yet another bug - i am going to go back to tt3 and sort out the gps problem as tt5 offers little i actually need and i don't like the user interface may take some time for the xda to do what i want, at least tt3 uses the screen keyboard the xda is great but you cannot use a bluetooth headset and bluetooth gps at the same time, when you terminate the call the gps disconnects as well, thought wired gps would sort it all out but not to be - cheers - mike |

There is another known problem with tomtom 5 and palm t5 when you run tomtom it asks to activate the program ever single time. _________________ Regards

Ok another hard reset (the XDA has had more in four weeks than the ipaq has had in twelve months), this time I opted for a "corporate" install to avoid the O2 rubish on the user interface, it will make the machine more stable - jury is out on that one at the moment.
As I stated before not happy with TT5 so I re-loaded up TT3, and then loaded TT GPS driver 2,06 as sugested within these forums - its still the same GPS works, sat nav works but the Bluetooth headset will "Pair" but fails to connect, so you can't use it. It must be the GPS driver that is causing this fault as TT5 works fine with the headset - I just don't like it and it is problematic using the inbuilt keyboard as the on screen unit will not come up in all modes of operation - any thoughts would be appreciated, secondly has anyone out there got an O2XDAIIs, running TomTom and using a bluetooth headset, I would like to know that it does work and I am begining to suspect the unit is in fact faulty - Mike |

Mike
Which ROM are you running because I was under the impression you could run BT TomTom and a BT headset at the same time without any problems. The latest ROM - v1.31.139 - should have fixed any Bluetooth problems on the XDAIIs.

Mike
It looks like you've already got the new ROM on your unit. I've not actually got it on mine because its an older unit. I dont use a BT headset and my TomTom works fine so I've never bothered downloading the new one. I'm afraid my techie knowledge is very limited so cant help you much more. If you dont get any luck here try the Tekguru forums, theres bound to be someone there that can help.

I downloaded and installed that (40MB) about two weeks ago, but thanks for the info anyway, if you ever do get a BT headset make sure you take the XDA withyou and get the shop to prove it will work with your unit - Mike |
