Hi, When I update the Speedcamera POI's, do I just copy them in the folder (maps of GB) and it over writes the old ones or is it a case of adding to the ones that are there

Mike - A quick question on updating please.
In order to get the POI's to list simply on screen on my TTG300 I have renamed the files on the SD card to simply "Gatso30" etc.
When updating I firstly download the latest zip file to my PC. After unzipping the new ov2 files obviously have the full pocket GPS file name. I dont seem at that point to be able to change the file name to the abbreviated version, which means I have to copy over the new files to the card, and then delete the old ones, and then rename them (rather than being able to overwrite). Not a big deal I grant you, but if is a quicker way to change all of the ov2 file names before copying them to the card to make them just overwrite I would like to know. Any thoughts, please.
Cheers Spot (sorry if you feel this is more of a windows question than TTG

The files come in a zip file. before you can change the names you have to extract the files. Right click on folder click extract all. |

Ok read your post again and looks like you have already done this. The problem just sounded like you hadn't. |
