HI EVERYONE,
THIS IS MY FIRST POST (NO LONGER A VIRGIN :P )
I HAVE BONDED MY MOTOROLA E1000 WITH MY TOM TOM GO 700 AND BEEN ABLE TO TRANSFER OVER MY TELEPHONE BOOK. PROBLEM IS IT WON'T LET ME SET UP AN INTERNET WIRELESS CONNECTION!
BLUETOOTH IS OBVIOUSLY ENABLED BUT I AM BAFFLED. TOM TOM TAKES ME THROUGH THE SET UP, I.E COUNTRY, TYPE OF PHONE, PROVIDER, ETC BUT THEN SAYS IT IS UNABLE TO DO WHAT IT SHOULD!
I WANT TO TRY THE FREE TRIAL FROM TOM TOM PLUS, ESPECIALLY THE TRAFFIC!
ANY HELP ANYONE CAN GIVE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED! THANKS! |

While I still await my 700 to arrive, I might offer my help in another manner. You will still get our attention here, if you stop shouting at us i.e turn your caps-lock off please. |

Are you with 3 Network?? If you are, then I think you will not be able to connect to TomTom services. As three block connection to other sites. |

Hi
Yeah, i think that your ptoblrm is with the curse on our society "3" network!
I to have a E1000 on 3 and cannot get it to connect. I does seem strange though as it does offer 3 GB in the TTG list of networks when you try and set up a manual connection.
Anyway, i grabbed a T-mobile PAYG SIM and stuck it in my old Nokia 6310i. Done the pairing (took a couple of attempts) and it has been working fine. Went to Cornwall last week and did several traffic updates and it seems to work fine!
I was stuck in traffic at one point for 45 minutes that the TTG did not know about. Would be nice to have a function built in where the user could report a traffic jam!!
