stop trying, start reading.
You have to use the file that is exactly for your build (probably 4890 for PPC) , and you have to replace the existing data.chk in the application folder. Everything else is just wasted time. _________________ Lutz

I have a MIO 168 with TT5 installed and my voices work OK. I assume when you say new voices that these are the warning sounds. If so you have to copy the data.chk ( the chk must be in lower case) to the Navigator folder which is insde the Program Files Folder on the ppc. If you mean the voice files such as Yoda or darth Vada or GB Jane then create a folder called Tomtom on the Storage card and put all the voices into it, they will still work. Dont give up nearly everybody is having problems like this, you will get there eventually. |
